Before we get into the specifics of the Breakfast sandwich, there's something else I want to convey to you. Sugar Plum is our happy place. The vibe is comfy and pleasant. The staff is the best, so friendly and accommodating. Everyone who comes to Sugar Plum understands this. It's a chill place with cool people and a great diner. On to the sandwich. 1) Even though you can't really go wrong with anything you order at Sugar Plum, the breakfast sandwich really has it all in one compact package. Your choice of bread, lightly grilled, and filled with a tasty layer of eggs, cheese, and your choice of breakfast meat. Side of hash browns is the way to go. 2) While I love this sandwich, I also like flair. I typically add grilled onions and avocado. Onions really don't get the respect they deserve and you should know that they belong on that sandwich, so add them. 3) Pro tip (and a bit of a hidden gem): Sugar Plum has the tastiest homemade salsa in Concord, which I also order on the side. It goes well on the sandwich and on the hash browns. For those of you who feel pepper approaches spicy, not to worry, it's not the hottest salsa in the world, just a very flavorful one.
Large portions and hot for pickup.
This place is welcoming the moment you are greeted when you walk in. My first time dining in was when my daughter started kindergarten & she will start her senior year @ ConcordHS. *(Class of 2024)* Honestly this is my favorite place! The food & service are one of a kind! ?????????
Had a special order, Jose & Esteban handled it easily, cooked to perfection as usual
French Toast is always a win and really good. Hot for pickup
Joe's Special was yummy! The potatoes were crisp and wonderful. Coffee was hot. I truly enjoyed my meal.
Outstanding. Love this restaurant. I've been going there since 1960's. So homey, friendly and delicious
Always a breakfast haunt for us, we arrived late one day so I ordered the cheeseburger. Easily in the top 3 that I've *ever* had. Nothing fancy - just quality, classic ingredients. Pro tip: order the onion rings too.
